Company Introduction

Workstream Automation was formed in 2003 to bring to market the Workstream suite of business process automation tools created by founder and chief technology officer Urooj Shaikh.

Urooj saw the need for a development environment that would tackle the issues which repeatedly cause software projects to run over budget and beyond deadline:

Urooj realised the key was to put development and prototyping tools into the hands of business process owners. The Workstream Enterprise suite of tools was created specifically to provide an intuitive environment that supports much closer working relationships between business users and software developers – across the whole model–develop–deploy–manage lifecycle.

Urooj also turned to open source components as the foundation for Workstream Enterprise, allowing us to deliver powerful solutions at a compelling price to our clients. That helps you remain agile and able to respond cost-effectively to constant change. Yet the toolset is designed to work alongside legacy infrastructure from vendors such as BEA, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle, allowing you to make the most of your existing investments.

To deliver these groundbreaking tools to market, Workstream Automation has assembled a team with a wealth of experience in business process modeling, automation and process improvement, backed by domain expertise in specific sectors. We understand our clients' needs because we've been there, managing a wide of range of businesses around the globe, and successfully delivering major process improvement and IT projects on time and to budget, time after time.
